Luciferase are a class of enzymes involved in the production of bioluminescence. Similar to the experiment with detection of auxin, here we are using luciferase to detect the presence of abscisic acid (ABA).
Agroinfiltration is a method used in plant biology to induce transient expression of genes in a plant. In the images below, I am injecting plant leaves with Agrobacterium tumefaciens, a species of bacteria which are used as vectors for transfer of genetical material.
